You will have check in on zoom between 8:55 a.m. - 9:03 a.m. Class will then kick off and dive into a comprehensive live lecture for the next 3 hours. You will then have lunch break at 12:20 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. After that, we will do a second attendance check in before we reconvene for the paired programming portion of the day. Paired programming consists of working with a partner to solve coding problems we assign you to apply what you learned from that day's lecture, in addition to collaborating on projects. There will then be a short break from 3:45 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. From 4:00 - 5:30 p.m., pairing resumes. At 5:30, you might be assigned to circle groups or return to the main room for an end-of-day (EOD) wrap up. During this time your instructors will typically go over the core concepts that you explored that day. This is an opportunity to ask questions and clear up any lingering confusion about the day’s material.
If you have any remaining questions at the end of the day, don't hesitate to ask them! Write them down and post on your cohort's slack channel if it's after hours, and seek extra clarification from the instructor the next day. Remember that the instructors are not available 24/7. However, many of them go above and beyond to help students and some do occasionally hop on to answer a few student questions. To seek clarification though, we recommend writing down your questions and asking them the next day if not yet answered via slack.
